Scotland plan for Menie Park, just north of Aberdeen, goes before Aberdeenshire
Councillors in a few weeks time. So now is the chance to have your say on
whether it should be approved - and you can do so in just a few seconds
online!
Donald Trump has said that the Trump International
Golf Links Scotland will be the best in the
world.
It would be something to really put Aberdeen City and Shire on the world tourism map, drawing visitors (who normally bypass this area in their haste to get from Edinburgh to Loch Ness) into our part of the world.
The benefits in terms of raising our profile internationally would be immense. Add to that the economic benefits for our economy and the spin-off benefit of visitors visiting other golf courses, businesses, distilleries and tourist attractions in the area and the potential benefits of this development are huge.
Inevitably a massive development like this is bound to stir up controversy. Equally inevitabley, those who are opposed are the most likely to be fired up to make their views known.
That is why it is important that councillors hear the widest possible range of views before they make a decision.
