Town House parking
It shows just how big Kintore is becoming that we
have our own parking problems. But is it really necessary to clutter up the Town
House and Christmas Tree with a mess of white vans and parked cars?
Kintore's Town House is a beautiful and historic
building with its curved external stairways up to the council chamber. At this
time of year is all the more attractive with the Christmas tree and lights
provided through the hard work and efforts of the volunteers who organise this
year after year.
It's a cheering sight in the mornings, on the
way to work. Or it should be.
Lately this
auspicious view has been taken over by a clutter of white vans and cars that
seem to have taken to using the Town House concourse as a car park. Come on
guys, have a bit of civic pride and park elsewhere. If not, you know what will
happen... the council will come along with bollards and double yellow lines to
restrict everyone.
