Floating over Kintore
Kintore got a wonderful view of the Virgin
hot-air balloon last night as it floated gently over the town.
So how many Kintore residents were out in their
gardens last night watching the Virgin hot-air ballon sailing
overhead?
Is it heading our way?
it was actually the second night running, that it had taken off from somewhere over towards Lyne of Skene. But, whereas last night it headed south east towards Deeside, tonight its route took it North East straight over the top of Kintore and on over the Don to Balbithan.
Wow, it certainly is!
There were about six or seven people on board as it sailed overhead, with only the occasional roar of the burners. It certainly seemed like ideal ballooning weather with only the gentlest of south-westerly breezes.
