Mark Reynolds, one of the driving forces behind the establishment of the Kintore Summer Festival, congratulates the team on their success this year.

Just thought that I’d e-mail the website to extend a hearty ‘thanks’ to the organisers of this year’s Kintore Summer Festival and Music stage. Well done to you all!
These events are so very important for a balanced approach to sustainable village life where the act of meeting people in an informal and friendly atmosphere and the art of discourse and artistic freedom are of paramount importance. It is essential that the tradition of this type of event is maintained at whatever cost. It will only be when these things are no longer staged through either complete village apathy or by dark aged bureaucracy or even both that the true value of this form of expression will be sorely missed or so far dilapidated that resurrection will be neigh on impossible.
Keep it going guys, you are fantastic!
