A warm welcome to all parents and guardians at the start of the first full year in the new school.
The first PTA meeting was held at the school on Monday 28th. August. During the course of the meeting a number of new office bearers within the committee were elected. The make-up of the office bearers is now:

Our thanks go to the office-bearers who have recently stepped down for their hard work during the previous years.
PTA membership is free and open to all parents and guardians with children at the school and nursery. It aims to aid co-operation between parents and the school and is a good channel for discussing issues surrounding the school. Fundraising forms a large part of the PTA's activities, this allows the school to provide amenities not normally provided by the State. PTA events have been well supported by the children and parents in the past and we look forward to this continuing.
In the last year, funds raised by the PTA have gone to help subsidise a sports co-ordinator, bus trips and purchase Christmas gifts for the nursery children. A large part of the funds raised have been used to provide 5 more smartboards for use in the classrooms.
Meetings are held on a monthly basis and anyone who would like to get involved will be made very welcome. The next meeting of the PTA will be at 7:00pm on Monday 25 th . September in Link Room 3 at the school.

Forthcoming Events
The first PTA disco for the children will be held in early November, details to follow soon.
