Just a few miles from Kintore, built in the year 1865 and renovated in 2004, this hotel comprises a total of 27 rooms spread over 3 floors of which 25 are double rooms and 2 are suites. The main building consists of a lobby with 24-hour reception and a cosy bar offering over a hundred different types of whiskey. Throughout the house the walls are bedecked with portraits of the family who owns the property. There is also a restaurant and a public Internet terminal. Baby group Public hall. Run in conjunction with Surestart. Wed 10am-12pm for new mums with babies 0 -10mnths (approx). All welcome. £1 for chat with resident health visitor/ other mums, and coffee. Registration is then transferable to 0-3 toddler group.

Kintore 0-3 group. Mon and Fri 9.30-11.15 in public hall. Ages 0-3 welcome with parent/carer. Asked to register after first few visits as group relies on mums to help with group. Initially visitors can attend at £2 per session with snack for children and tea/coffee for mums. Registration is £15 plus £1 per session. Covers outings, seasonal parties and gifts.

3.2`s Group. Public hall. Tue Thur 9.30-11.30am and wed 12.30-2.30pm. For children aged 2 1/2 to 3. We accept them onto waiting list at 2yrs old. Admission to the group is then done by birthday not by who registered first. Must be registered to attend, if already registered at 0-3 group then this covers the 2`s group. Current session cost is £4.60. Group run by 2 playleaders and 2 parent helpers. Open days are held at start of each term.
