A Finalised Plan was approved by the Strategic Development Planning Authority (SDPA) on 13 February 2009 and was backed for submission to Scottish Ministers at special meetings of both Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire Councils on 19 February 2009.

Following on from the discussion at last month's meeting regarding the town park and in particular the developers' proposal to reduce the recreational area available by about 25%. Kintore and District Community Council has delivered this letter to Aberdeenshire Council’s Planning Department.
